    I make freezer jams with my strawberries. It is very simple and they taste like fresh strawberries. I put my jars right in the freezer.You can even use pretty little jars,with lids, that don't use standard lids, and save those for other things that must be canned the traditional way.It's an excellent topping on ice cream and various other desserts, too.
